Volunteer opportunities include:
Youth Mentors -The Youth Empowerment Program seeks volunteers who are good with youth for Friday night games, conversation groups, and other activity. Must have valid driver license and willing to submit for a background check. Contact network@lgbtventura.org
Food Pantry - Help shop for and bag groceries. Great rewarding work with a fun, energetic team. No experience required. Week day hours vary. Contact patrick@lgbtventura.org.
Office help - Volunteers needed for general office help. Direct callers to information about LGBT resources in Ventura County. Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available. Basic computer skills [Word, Excel] required. Contact jay@lgbtventura.org
Events - General support assisting with creating, planning and producing fund-raising and awareness-raising events. Loads of fun! Great way to get involved, meet people, and help raise vital funds for Ventura County Rainbow Alliance.
